negative lifestyle and encouraging them to strive to be their best in the community.

About Us
Time For Change is a grassroots mentorship initiative committed to helping youth navigate and overcome destructive lifestyles and societal pressures. Founded by Tyrone Cannedy, the program pairs at-risk youth with mentors who have personally triumphed over adversity. Through group discussions, life skills workshops, moral development, and faith-based guidance, participants are empowered to build self-respect, avoid the dangers of violence, drugs, and peer pressure, and take charge of their futures.
The program covers vital topics like leadership, goal setting, health, education, and emotional wellness. At its core, Time For Change is a refuge and foundation for youth, reminding them that they matter, they belong, and their future is worth fighting for.

Time For A Change also provides a safe space for youth to express their concerns and emotions, offering them the tools to drive meaningful change in their environment.

About Me
As CEO and Founder of Time For Change, I created this motto out of a personal experience. There was a time in my life when I stood at that wide and broad gate, choosing the destructive path. But one day, I realized it was time for a change. That realization became my ultimate goal for our youth and children: to open their minds, help them see the world around them, and empower them to say, "Now is the time for change," because change starts with us.

We recognize that we cannot save every child, but our mission is to reach as many as we can. Our organization stands as that “strait gate,” guiding youth away from the broad and easy road that leads to destruction, and instead, offering a path toward life, purpose, and growth.
